Semler Research Center Pvt, Ltd, Bangalore, a full service clinical research organization primarily in the area of bioanalytical / clinical studies, as well as formulation services, has appointed Raja L K Agnihotri as vice president, Business Development effective, February 2, 2009.

Agnihotri will be based at the SRC offices in Bangalore and his responsibilities will include accelerating the growth of SRC in the Indian market, as well as in the countries of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Bangladesh. He has more than 16 years of experience spread across Biotech, Pharma and Herbal industries. He has worked in different capacities in the area of business development, sales, marketing, product management in reputed companies in India.

He is a Masters degree in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from Karnataka University in India.

"Agnihotri brings his commercial skills to the company to strengthen our business development unit for sustained long-term growth in this growing industry," said Ravi Achar, managing director and CFO.
