A 15-member business delegation from Belgrade, Serbia is visiting New Delhi to explore business opportunities with the Indian pharma and Ayurveda manufacturers in the country.

The main objective of the visiting delegation is to meet with members of pharmaceutical exporters from India, especially manufacturers of dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals and members of Ayurveda companies.

This is the biggest delegation from Serbia representing almost about 10 per cent of its pharma markets. The visitors comprise of owners and general managers of around 150 Serbian pharmacies from the country. The delegation is interested in meeting Indian manufacturers of prescription drugs, and particularly interested in dietary supplements.

“For the benefit of our members we have organized an interactive meeting at New Delhi, where the Indian pharma manufactures can have a one to one interaction and clear their doubts and apprehensions if any with regard to export and import of pharmaceutical and related products,” said Dr P V Appaji, DG, Pharmexcil.
