Sharon Bio-Medicine a Rs.785 crore company, has performed well during the second quarter ended December 2012 and its net profit went up sharply by 34.2 per cent to Rs.13.19 crore from Rs.9.83 crore in the same period of last year. EBDITA also improved by 24 per cent to Rs.29.55 crore from Rs.23.84 crore. Its net sales also moved up by 26.4 per cent to Rs.248.84 crore from Rs.196.85 crore. With strong results, its EPS improved to Rs.12.49 from Rs.9.83 crore in the last period.

The company's net sales for the first six months ended December 2012, increased by 25.1 per cent to Rs.465.52 crore from Rs.371.21 crore. Its net profit jumped by 28.9 per cent to Rs.25.16 crore from Rs.19.51 crore.

For the full year ended June 2012, the company posted net sales of Rs.785 crore and earned a net profit of Rs.41.61 crore with EPS of Rs.40.18.
