Sri Adichunchanagiri College of Pharmacy (SACP) teamed up with Druggist & Chemist Association, Mandya District branch to observe the World Pharmacists Day. The College made efforts to reinstate the presence of the pharmacist in the healthcare space.

On the occasion, an event which evolved around the theme ‘Pharmacist: You’re Friend in Healthcare’  was organised at the SAC First Grade College, Nagamangala. Dr B Ramesh, Principal, SACCP welcomed the gathering and realised a book on healthcare

Those present on the occasion included  Cheluvaraya Swamy, local MLA, D A Gundu Rao, president, KSPC, Sri Samsun, drug information pharmacist, Karnataka State Pharmacy Council,  B. Lokesh, president Druggist & Chemist Association, Mandya district and  vice president, Karnataka, Druggist & Chemist Association, Shylaja, ADC, Mandya, Vishalakshi, drug inspector, Mandya, Prof N Ramu, Principal, SAC First Grade College, Nagamangala.

A rally along with cultural events was organised where SACCP students along with druggist and chemists of Nagamangala participated. Pamphlets highlighting health information were distributed to the public.
