Srishti Software, a leading healthcare information management system (HIMS) provider, announced the successful implementation of picture archiving and communication system (PACS) with HDTV production facility in the President Estate Clinic (PEC), the family wing of Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. This facility is meant for broadcasting, including addressing to the nation, tele-conference, tele-education, tele-medicine facilities, etc.

"Srishti came to us with in-depth know-how and tremendous domain experience which enabled them to assess our needs completely and customize and implement PACS", said Angely Tripathi, project manager, President's Estate Clinic, Rashtrapati Bhawan. "We would love to be associated with Srishti in all our future enhancements," added Angely, according to a Srishti press release.

As the President Estate Clinic is connected to CARE Hospital, R.R Hospital and AIIMS Hospital, implementation of telemedicine is very important. PACS helps to capture, store, distribute, and then display medical images. This eliminates the need to manually file, retrieve or transport film jackets or other media items. PACS has the ability to deliver timely and efficient access to images, interpretations and related data. PACS breaks down the physical and time barriers associated with traditional film based retrieval, distribution and display.

"We are pleased that we were able to work closely with the President's Estate Clinic and implement PACS", said Ajay Shankar Sharma, CEO, Srishti Software.
