The company has signed up with partners in many of the regions and market research is on for sales to start off in early 2008, Ajay Shankar Sharma, chief executive officer, Srishti Software told Pharmabiz.
Paras is indispensable for healthcare providers and is designed as a next generation healthcare suite to support modern hospital services, he added.
From Patient Administration System (PAS), Clinical Administration System (CAS), ERP to Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) or Radiology Information System, integration of patient electronic records, powerful assisted diagnostics & prescription with tele-healthcare functionalities, makes Paras a total solution provider.
Launched in 2005, Paras has grabbed 15 installations in India including President Estate Clinic, the family wing of Rastrapati Bhawan (which uses PACS to link it with Care Hospital, Hyderabad, the Delhi-based RR Hospital and All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences), Max Healthcare, New Delhi, Narayana Healthcare City, Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore, districts hospitals and blood banks under the Karnataka Health Systems Development Project, Tata Memorial Hospital at Jamnagar, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
A team of 15 developed the version I in dot net client server architecture and upgraded to web-based format for versions II, III and IV. The range has Paras Premium priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1 crore (300-500 beds), Paras for Rs 20 lakh-Rs 50 lakh (150-300 beds)and Pars Lite for Rs 10 lakh-15 lakh( 50-150 beds).
While Srishti is also known for its Knowledge management and enterprise application integration solutions, HIMS has registered a 50 per cent growth and product revenues account for 70-80 per cent of its turnover. The company also bagged the Innovative Company of the Year award from NASSCOM.
The HIMS market in India is valued at Rs 1,000 crore and growing at 15-18 percent annually. Srishti, SRIT, Wipro, Australia based IBA and Track Health are the leading names in the field.
The biggest challenge in increasing penetration HIMS in India is the lack of awareness among healthcare providers on the efficiencies created with such installations. In the wake of medical tourism catching up HIMS is a must for international patient treatment modalities, stated the Srishti chief.
