SRL's Dubai lab gets accreditation from College of American Pathologists
Super Religare Laboratories’ (SRL) Dubai reference lab situated at Dubai Health Care City has received an accreditation by the prestigious College of American Pathologists, USA, the highest renowned body that provides accreditation to the diagnostic labs. With this accreditation, SRL has become the only multi-national diagnostics chain to get CAP’s approval across its various geographical locations in Asia.
One of the world’s leading diagnostics network, SRL is a pioneer of modern diagnostics that touches more than 10 million lives annually. Established in 1993 in India, SRL has been trusted by over one lakh doctors worldwide owing to its mission to deliver Gold Standard laboratory medicine services globally.
The strict quality protocols adhered to by the Dubai reference lab have contributed to SRL joining the very select group of standalone CAP accredited labs in the entire Middle East.
Speaking about the achievement, Dr Sanjeev K Chaudhry, CEO, Super Religare Laboratories, said, “We dedicate this accreditation to the medical fraternity of the Middle-East since it is their standards of medical care and compliance thereof that propelled us to aim for the very best. Right from its inception SRL had zealously adhered to the highest Quality protocols and systems which enabled us to create History. We have been able to achieve this accreditation in record time which was perceived as unachievable earlier. As acknowledged by CAP Itself, SRL’s Dubai Reference lab earned this accreditation in the shortest possible time since it started its commercial operations in October’09.”
SRL’s other reference labs in India (Mumbai and Delhi-NCR) have already achieved their accreditation years ago. With the accreditation of the Dubai lab and another one in the offing for the Nepal unit, SRL has become the only lab diagnostics chain to get highest accreditations across different Asian Geographies.
SRL - India's largest diagnostics network that is trusted by millions. With its far-reaching network of 1200 collection centres spread across 450 towns and cities, extending from Leh to Kanyakumari and Bhuj to Imphal, there is hardly a place where SRL doesn't touch the lives of people. Since its inception of operations in 1996, it has conducted over 50 million tests and today its operations have scaled up to a level whereby over 10 million people every year repose their trust in the testing facilities of SRL.
