Stemsoft Software licenses StemLab Software to The Blood Connection
Stemsoft Software Inc, the leading provider of software solutions for the cell therapy and transplant community, licenses StemLab, the leading cell therapy transplant and cord blood banking laboratory software, to The Blood Connection in Piedmont, South Carolina.
“We are extremely excited to move from a very manual paper-based process tracking system to the streamlined electronic one StemLab has to offer,” said Lillia Holmes, HPC Laboratory director of TBC. “Along with assisting us with accreditation, compliance and outcome report generation for our clinical clients, we will be implementing StemLab to generate ISBT 128 identifiers and labels.”
“StemLab’s built-in Apheresis template will provide TBC with a fantastic starting point from which their implementation can gain momentum. Stemsoft looks forward to working with the TBC team on this project and to helping them realize their goals,” states Nicole Waidman, Sales and marketing manager for Stemsoft. In addition, StemLab assists both cell therapy transplant and cord blood banking laboratories with heightened quality control, improved inventory management and the ability to generate robust outcome reports – including the 100mm x 100mm ISBT 128 product label.
StemLab is currently used in over 50 cell therapy and cord blood banking laboratories worldwide. The system has been designed, and is continually updated, to meet the unique needs and accreditation requirements of the cell therapy workflow.
