Princeton, New Jersey | Saturday, October 29, 2016, 11:00 Hrs  [IST]

Systech International, the global leader in brand protection technologies, will showcase its ability to enable rapid compliance with pharmaceutical serialization during this year’s PACK EXPO event, being held November 6-9 in Chicago, Illinois.

Systech’s UniSolve serialization solution will be on display on carton coding and bottle labeling hardware from Omega Design Corporation and LSI by ID Technology, with Systech team members available for demonstrations, prospective customer meetings and discussions on pharmaceutical regulations within the industry. Systech will be in Booth #N5746 of the Upper North Building of McCormick Place. In addition, Stephen Lisa, Director, Product Management, will participate in a serialization discussion panel on Wednesday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. EST. The panel is part of Pharma EXPO, which is co-located with PACK EXPO. Mr. Lisa oversees the UniSolve solution as part of Systech’s UniSeries product suite.

Systech’s UniSolve is a configurable serialization solution that allows drug manufacturers and packagers to cost-effectively maintain compliance with changing global regulations. With the FDA planning new implementation requirements for DSCSA stakeholders in 2015, 2017 and 2023, manufacturers and packagers need to rapidly implement unit-level serialization ahead of these dates. UniSolve is an end-to-end deployment solution that includes hardware, software, services and program integration.

“There is a recognized lack of resources to meet industry demand around serialization. Pharmaceutical manufacturers do not have the luxury of time to comply with stringent serialization regulations in the face of potential fines, line stoppages and other penalties. UniSolve is the fastest and most comprehensive solution to serialization that pairs the best software with the best machine manufacturers in the industry,” states Robert DeJean, Systech Founder and CEO. “We work with a wide variety of OEMs across the globe to ensure our solution is available quickly, with minimal downtime, with the flexibility to meet individual customer needs and any future alterations to existing regulations. While other providers are struggling to meet demand, UniSolve enables a faster, more cost-effective compliance solution for our customers.”

In the Systech booth, Omega Design Corporation, a global provider of packaging machinery, serialization solutions, and bottle unscrambling technology, will showcase its Intelli-Code Carton Coder configured with Systech’s UniSolve. Omega was an early member of Systech’s UniSolve Partner Ecosystem, a multi-vendor environment featuring the industry’s premier OEMs. Earlier this year, Systech announced that Omega had become a partner-in-residence at the company’s training and demonstration facility at its U.S. headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey. This allows Systech’s regional clientele to participate in live training and active demonstrations showcasing UniSolve’s seamless integration with Omega’s case aggregation hardware.

Systech’s UniSolve solution will also be featured with LSI by ID Technology’s labeling hardware. LSI is a leading single-source provider of labeling, coding and marking equipment, service and supplies. Systech will also have demos for LSI’s Bottle Labeling System for DSCSA. Both Systech and LSI’s products are used by a large number of pharmaceutical companies, contract manufacturers and contract packagers.

Omega Design Corporation is a global provider of innovative packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and consumer healthcare industries.

LSI, a brand of ID Technology, powered by Pro Mach, designs and manufactures heavy duty, pressure-sensitive labeling equipment. For more than 30 years, pharmaceutical, food, beverage and other consumer goods companies have relied on LSI’s robust labelers for consistent quality and performance in nonstop, around-the-clock production environments.
