The Lady Hospitals starts mid-night clinic as part of International Women’s Day initiative

The Lady Hospitals, Karnataka’s first dedicated women’s healthcare and surgical centre, on the occasion of International Women’s Day has put together a novel initiative of Mid-night Clinic wherein women could reach out to a pool of specialists to consult and discuss various issues concerning womanhood under one roof.

This initiative of The Lady Hospitals is part of its dedicated effort to reach out to feminine gender across all age groups and create awareness about various disorders women are likely to be affected with & simultaneously spread the message of wellness and happiness. The concept is also bound to provide an opportunity for women to ensure their physiological and psychological well-being.

Commenting on the Mid-night Clinic, Dr Vidyanand Gurumurthy, medical director, The Lady Hospitals, said,” there are many barriers that women face in protecting their health and time constraint is the most critical of these. To address this issue we have created a new convenient time zone that would enable women of all ages reach out to doctor leisurely for her wellbeing.”

The Mid-night Clinic would remain open between 7.00 pm and 12.00 midnight on March 8, 2011. A team of consultants including obstretricians, gynaecologists, cosmetologists and specialists in gynaecological surgeries, uro gynaecology, infertility, laproscopic surgeries, gastro intestinal and paediatrics would be also available for consultation.

Dr Jayanti Thumsi, Clinical Leader on Breast Care, The Lady Hospitals stated that the  Mid-night Clinic would become a regular practice at  if the response warrants as they have already received 140 registrations for the same for which the service is extended till March 14, 2011.
