Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited (TPL) has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited (DRL) for licensing and supplying the formulation of one of Torrent's drug 'Domstal O' in the Gastro Intestinal segment, company said in a release.

Torrent Pharma would license the dossier and marketing authorization for the formulation to DRL initially for Russia, which would later be extended to other CIS countries. The agreement has been signed for a period of five years, during which TPL would manufacture the formulation for DRL.

This is the first agreement signed between the two companies and talks on other such agreements are underway, the release says.
