The 37th annual meeting of the Urological Society of India will be held from 21 to 24th January 2004 at Kochi, Kerala.
About 1200 delegates, including numerous experts from various parts of the world, are participating in the meet. Various seminars and symposia will be held on the latest happenings in the field of urology, andreology, female urology, renal transplant etc., and more than 260 seminar papers will be presented at the meet.
The expert participants include Dr SK Sharma, director of the Chandigarh Post graduate Institute of Medical Education, Dr F James Bramble, president of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, Dr Michael Limber from Mayo Clinic of USA, Dr (Prof.) John Fits Patrick and Dr David Constein from Oxford, UK etc.
Apart from the seminars, the meet will have separate live sessions on keyhole surgery and kidney stone breaking. vice admiral Yashwanth Prasad, commander in chief, Southern Naval Command will inaugurate the event, held at the Convention Centre of Hotel Le Meridian, informed Kochi Urology Club, hosts for the annual meet.
The meet will also coincide with a urological and surgery equipment exhibition, participated by various Indian and overseas manufacturing and marketing companies.
