Piramal Healthcare (known as Nicholas Piramal India Ltd) has received US FDA approval for its Digwal API facility in Andhra Pradesh.

The Digwal facility has achieved clearance of US FDA inspection with 'No 483s' this year for the third time in succession. The 'No 483s' status reflects high standards of cGMP compliance, with no critical or major observations.

The Digwal site is one of the ten facilities globally that caters to the custom manufacturing arm of the company.
