V Harikrishnan, president of Bangalore District Chemists and Druggists Association (BDCDA) has now been elected as president of the Karnataka Chemists and Druggists (KCDA). He will now play a dual role as president of the both BDCDA and KCDA.

B. Lokesh has been elected as vice president of KCDA. The announcement came in at the 11th managing committee meeting held in Bengaluru.

Harikrishnan has been president of the BDCDA since 1997 and has been supporting the chemists and druggists fraternity.

Karnataka has around 26,000 chemists and druggist outlets. Out of this, 3,000 outlets are in Bengaluru and come under the purview of the BDCDA.
