VHERDS plans international healthcare seminar/ expo in New Delhi

Following the huge success of its third International Herbal Expo and Seminar at Chennai in July this year, Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth's NGO arm Voluntary Health Education and Rural Development Society (VHERDS) plans to conduct an international healthcare expo and seminar at Pragathi Maidan in New Delhi from 19th to 21st of March 2004.

Covering the entire spectrum of healthcare solutions including allopathy and ISM drug manufacturers and practitioners, the 'International Comprehensive Healthcare Expo & Seminar 2004', will be one of the largest of its kind events organised in the country, sources told Pharmabiz.com.

The event, with sponsorships and participation of the various central and state ministries and corporate houses, will have a participation of over 1000 delegates, including 100 overseas delegates which include 50 invitee speakers from different fields related to healthcare. The event is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister A.B.Vajpayee. Headed by its General Secretary T.P.Radharishnan, VHERDS is currently undertaking a road show in U.S. as part of the campaign, said sources.

Sources noted that the meet would help to create an interaction between the people into various systems like allopathic, herbal and alternative medical industry, professionals engaged in the fields, healthcare providers, insurance companies, hospitals, including rural health centres, all sections of doctors and medical students etc.

Sources said VHERDS would also conduct a similar seminar and exhibition at Chennai in October 2004.
