The kidney, donated by a brain dead patient from Ruby Hall hospital in Pune, was transported to Wockhardt Hospital, Nashik in 3 hours and 30 minutes to save the life of a patient at Wockhardt Hospitals, Nashik in dire need of a transplantation. A green corridor created by the district administration and police of Nashik, Pune and Ahmednagar, helped save the life of the patient, who was in dire need of transplantation.

Timely intervention and cooperation by the concerned officials helped speed up the process of kidney transport from Pune to Nashik.

The green corridor created by the authorities helped ensure the kidney was successfully transplanted to our patient in time. The patient is doing fine and is recuperating well.”
