World Ayurveda Expo and International Trade Fair 2002 is being organized in connection with the World Ayurveda Congress 2002, the first ever-international conclave on Ayurveda. The expo, which will place Kerala on the global herbal map, will showcase various Ayurveda products and services. Theme stall describing the various academic and research aspects related to Ayurveda is set up by Coimbatore Ayurveda College and five other Ayurveda colleges in Kerala in the expo.

The stall which will be set up by Ayurveda College, Thiruvanthapuram, will provide details on Ayurvedic surgery while that of Ayurveda College, Kaunnur, will demonstrate the different aspects of Ayurveda system of medicine.

Panchakarma system of treatment will be the highlight in the Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, stall while visitors can have an in-depth look into 'Kerala's traditional treatment methods' at the stall of Vaidyatham Ayurveda College, Ollur.

Tripunithura Ayurveda College will set up a stall featuring products and services related to Devyaguna (herbal plants division) Rasashastra (the chemical division of Ayurveda) and Bhaishya Kalpana (Ayurveda drugs manufacturing division). The stall will also provide information on the emergency medicine in Ayurveda, which is not popular in Kerala.
