Wyeth has reported net profit growth of 14.1 per cent during the second quarter ended September 2011 to Rs. 33.95 core from Rs. 29.75 crore in the similar period of last year. Its net sales moved up by 21.4 per cent to Rs. 148.14 crore from Rs. 122.07 crore. Its pharmaceutical sales increased by 15.6 per cent to Rs. 138.97 crore. However, sales of other products like OTC, cosmetics and other allied consumer products declined slightly to Rs. 10.21 core from Rs. 11.96 crore. With improvement in profits, its earnings per share improved to Rs. 14.94 from Rs. 13.09 in the last period.
For the first half ended September 2011, its net sales increased by 20.7 per cent to Rs. 294.58 crore from Rs. 244.12 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its net profit has taken quantum jump of 36 per cent to Rs. 76.44 core from Rs. 56.40 crore. Its pharmaceutical sales up by 25.6 per cent to Rs. 276.74 crore from Rs. 220.42 crore.
