The trend of chemical market has gradually been moved from petrochemical to fine chemical industry in Korea for over the past decade. Main domestic enterprises rush on the fine chemical market one after another and the petrochemical companies, who have high technology and equipments, also join the fine chemical industry with the heavier profits.

The South Korean government has specified this fine chemical industry, as one of the crore strategic industries for the nation and tried to foster the fine chemical products and the exhibitions, which will be dedicated to this field.
