Bangalore-based Yos Technologies Pvt Ltd, a healthcare software solutions provider has tied up with hospitals in Tier II & Tier III cities in Karnataka to help these healthcare providers to improve operational efficiencies and quality of patient service. The company which has already tied up with over 30 hospitals in Bangalore, is keen to target the small towns and cities going by the potential and need for hospital management systems.
The hospitals are Mangala Hospital at Hassan, Adarsha Hospital at Tumkur and a government Hospital at Bellary. Now Yos is also looking for more access to medical centres in other Tier II & Tier III including Mysore, Mangalore, Udipi, Hubli, Shimoga and Belgaum.
According to Vijaya Verma, founder & CEO, Yos Technologies, "Hospitals, especially in Tier II & Tier III cities have been facing challenges in adoption of Information Technology, because most solutions offered to them so far needed large upfront investments as well as major changes in their overall processes and retraining of their staff."
The company has also released the latest version of its flagship product 'Yos Record Management System' or which is a smart card based solution for managing Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient records. "Our solutions help the hospital improve operational efficiencies, while giving hospitals an opportunity to generate revenues," she said.
With 'Yos RMS' all hospital records can be maintained online for better space utilization and enables exchange of data across various locations of its network safely. It also helps in clinical analysis of data for planning as well as for research. Its light-weight architecture and document oriented database keeps resource requirements to minimum while being extremely scalable.
The Record Management System developed by Yos is a pay-as-you-grow solution that is tuned to the existing processes of the hospitals and also flexible to cater to future changes. It can be offered as hosted or standalone implementations to suit the level of capital expenditures of hospitals.
