GE India appoints Terri Bresenham as President & CEO for Healthcare business
GE India has appointed Terri Bresenham to lead GE’s healthcare’s business in India. Bresenham will continue to develop and strengthen the ‘In India, for India’ focus nurtured by GE. She replaces V Raja, who has been leading GE Healthcare’s business since 2002.
In her new role, Bresenham will also continue to drive the momentum of GE Healthcare’s “Healthymagination” vision across South Asia. She will take on the reins at GE Healthcare India on October 7, 2011.

A 21-year veteran of GE, Bresenham started her career as a clinical chemist, joined GE as an ‘Edison Engineer’ and progressed through engineering and product management roles in MR, CT and PET. She led sales & marketing of GE’s Women’s Health business for the introduction of digital mammography and led GE’s Lunar, Inc. Bresenham was then vice president of GE’s global Diagnostic Ultrasound business, building a sustainable, growth foundation and delivering over 50 per cent growth in four years. She was made a GE Company Officer in 2006. Prior to taking this new role, Bresenham was vice president and general manager, Molecular Imaging. In this position, Bresenham led the companies PET, Nuclear Medicine and Radio-pharmacy businesses, working to detect disease earlier and solve the research and clinical challenges faced daily in cardiology, neurology and oncology disease management.
