Midas Pharma GmbH, Ingelheim, Germany-based sourcing, supplying and developing finished drug products, active ingredients and intermediates company, has strengthened its presence in India by appointing Gurmeet Singh as head of India liaison office at Hyderabad.

Gurmeet Singh brings with him over 20 years experience with pharma industry in global sourcing, business development, API sales and strategic alliances. Before joining Midas Pharma GmbH, Gurmeet has had the privilege of working with some of the leading firms in India, such as Ranbaxy, Wockhardt and Orchid.

With Wockhardt, he was based in Switzerland and Ireland and was actively involved in strengthening the procurement team for Pinewood Healthcare in Ireland. Gurmeet is involved in creating and nurturing strategic alliances, sourcing, procurement and business development activities thereby enhancing the business interface for Midas in India.
