Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd (AHEL) has launched an integrated rural healthcare system called Total Health at Aragonda of Tavanampalle mandal in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
Launching the healthcare system Dr Prathap C Reddy, chairman of Apollo Hospitals said the total health aims at providing holistic healthcare covering physical, mental, social and spiritual health at the doorstep at affordable cost.
The initiative aims to improve the health of communities through education, promotion of healthy lifestyle, healthcare research for disease and injury prevention, and improved sanitation with a focus on design, development and delivery of innovative healthcare solutions. The integrated healthcare system in Arogonda will provide clinics delivering primary care, training of medical practitioners, community engagement, risk screening, disease management and project management.
