Mumbai-based Amkette Analytics a part of ANM Alliance will be starting the training process covering various areas of viscometers, rheology and powder flow tester for the pharmacy students as well as the customers from April 2012.

The main aim of training is to provide quality solutions in terms of assessing the product and getting a complete satisfaction, before investing into the product. This training will help the pharmacy students to work confidently on the instrument and to interpret correct results after the instrument is installed at their site.

The main purpose of the using viscometers, rheology and powder flow tester is to spread education, to make aware of the new technology before buying any new products or machine, these viscometers which is used to test viscosity of any product will provide a lot of application support to all the customers locally and also in the country.

Manish Mehta, director, Amkette Analytics said that this training will also be imparted to the service engineers and to the clients / users, so that they can confidently work on the instrument and interpret correct results after the instrument is installed at their site. “Our main purpose is to provide quality solutions in terms of assessing the product and getting a complete satisfaction, before investing into the product,” he added.

The training process involves three types firstly the crash course of one day which will include theory, the advance course of two days which includes detailed theory of instruments and hands on training and the detailed course of three days which will include model wise, practical and theory sessions. All the training courses will be scheduled with two weeks prior confirmation.

The various topics will be covered in the theory process including how to determine the appropriate Brookfield equipment for your application, its spares and attachments, method for preparing sample, rheology - principle & working, fluid profiling, data collection, interpretation and reporting, QC viscosity control limit values, etc. In the practical sessions, the pharmacy students or clients will actually be operating the instruments with real time samples.

According to David Brookfield, CEO and chairman of the board said that many companies across the globe already using our viscometers like Pfizer worldwide and in India, GSK (UK), veterinary science companies, food companies includes nestles, personal care and cosmetics, adhesives, beverages, etc.. The preference of Brookfield viscometers are used by all dermatologists, food products, pharma, healthcare and cosmetics.

Similarly training will also be provided for UV, GC, HPLC, AA, FTIR, PCR, Polarimeters, Refractometers, and other important analytical instrumentation.
