Apollo Hospitals opens Institute of Liver & Pancreatic Diseases and Solid Organ Transplantation

Apollo Hospital, has opened an Institute for Liver & Pancreatic Diseases and Solid Organ Transplantation. Apollo has set up this dedicated institute to manage all types of liver and pancreatic diseases. In India, liver diseases are among the top ten killer diseases causing lakhs of deaths every year. Chronic liver problems need recurrent hospitalisation and prolonged medical attention.

The dedicated division is headed by Dr Suresh Singhvi, senior consultant surgeon & director, Apollo Institute of Liver & Pancreatic Diseases & Solid Organ Transplantation.  Dr Rakesh Rai is the senior consultant surgeon in the same Institute.

Experts from different fields of medicine and experience in managing liver, biliary and pancreatic disease have come together to provide excellent care for the patients with these disorders. In an effort to improve quality of life, this institute has country’s best doctors providing specialised care for patients with Hepato (Liver), Pancreato (Pancreas) and Biliary (HPB) disease.
