ICT Health has now installed its HINAI Health Information System Network at all the 17 hospitals of the Narayana Hrudayalaya (NH) Group Hospitals across the country.

A single, multi-tenant, cloud deployed instance of HINAI serves over 25+ Hospitals and diagnostic centres with more than a million patients annually, making it one of the world’s largest integrated care delivery networks.

By the end of the year, from India alone, we hope to integrate three million patients and by 2014 it would be five million. The target we have set for us in this country is 50 million patients, said Gautam Dey, Group CEO, ICT Health.

While Narayana Hrudayalaya is the first hospital in India which we have partnered to integrate the HIS via cloud-ready applications, there are two more hospitals in the country which are gearing up to implement regional electronic health exchange among all member hospitals, added Dey.

ICT is a well entrenched player in this space for hospitals in the Middle East and we are all set to expand out footprint into the Indian market, said Fareed, Vice Chairman, ICT Health.

HINAI is built on a unique interoperability theme that delivers a closed loop hospital information management workflow where all the stakeholders of the care continuum are intrinsically linked.

Hospital management and administrative staff are able to interact with practitioners, complete patient registration and admission, make appointments and manage their documentation requirements. Through a unique application of social media, physicians are linked to their patients from the  appointment  stage and up to or beyond discharge. Further this HIS  delivers  telemedicine, disease monitoring solutions and a clinical services outsourcing portfolio. It also comprises care facility management and medical training programs, geared towards improved clinical and financial outcomes.
