Pharmexcil to celebrate its 8th annual meet from Sept 26 - 28 in Hyderabad

Having successfully completed eight years of its existence as a sole promoter of India’s pharmaceutical Industry across the globe, the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) is gearing up to organise a host of events during its annual body meeting that is scheduled to be held from September 26 to 28, 2012.

Since inception in the year 2004, the council has been doing tremendous work and organizing various promotional events such as networking, organizing buyer seller meets, conducting business meets of top pharmaceutical industry leaders and providing pharma related database and knowledge to the industry players. Over the past eight years the Council has  played a vital role in promoting Indian pharmaceutical industry across the globe and is still moving forward with innovative programmers and events and has brought the entire drug industry under one roof.

“We are glad to inform that Pharmexcil has successfully completed eight years of services to the pharmaceutical industry. I am thankful to all the industry players and members for their continued co-operation and support. The commerce ministry and government of India has also helped us a lot in taking forward our programmes and events in a big way. On the occasion of our annual celebrations we are organizing Indian-Asia Pacific International Pharma meet followed by a CEOs conclave from September 26-28 this year. In fact this would be a very good networking meet for the entire Indian pharma industry,” said Dr P V Appaji, DG, Pharmexcil.

As a part of programme the council is also conducting India-Asia Pacific international pharma meet. About 60 buyers/importers, FDA and health ministry officials from 15 Asia Pacific countries are expected to take part in the event. On September 27, 2012 the CEOs conclave is scheduled to take place. The annual programme is expected to be marked by one-to-on meetings, presentations and an award ceremony.

Union minister for industry and textile Anand Sharma, and a top global pharma industry CEO is also expected to take part as the chief guests of the Council’s annual meet.
