Anna University organises 2-day conference on ‘advances in drug design discovery and development’
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Anna University in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu organised a two-day national level conference on ‘advances in drug design discovery and development’ on July 24 and 25.
The programme was coordinated by Dr.S.Latha and Dr.P.Selvamani, Assistant Professors in the department of pharmaceutical technology at the university.
Dr.Meena K.Shakarkhar, Associate Professor and Chair, Rational In Drug Design, University of Saskatchwan, Canada inaugurated the National Conference and delivered the keynote address. Dr.T.Senthil Kumar, Dean, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli presided over the function.
The conference attracted 220 participants from various universities and colleges of five states and presented their research papers in the conference. This event was supported by the government funding agencies of DRDO, DBT, BRNS and INSA.
