Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has registered small growth of 5.2 per cent in net profit during the second quarter ended September 2014 to Rs. 91.50 core from Rs 87 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its income moved up 18.2 per cent to Rs. 1,153 crore from Rs. 975 crore. Its EBDITA increased by 9.2 per cent to Rs. 180.79 crore from Rs. 165.57 crore. EPS worked out to Rs. 6.58 as against Rs. 6.25 in the last period.
Its income from healthcare services increased by 12.5 per cent to Rs. 715.77 core from Rs. 636.52 crore and that from pharmacy moved up by 29.1 per cent to Rs. 437.17 crore from Rs. 338.64 crore. Apollo Hospitals issued 2000 secured, redeemable non convertible debentures of the face value of Rs. 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs. 200 crore on private placement basis.
For the first half ended September 2014, its income increased by 18 per cent to Rs. 2,207 crore from Rs. 1,870 crore in the similar period of last year. Its net profit moved up by 5 per cent to Rs. 174.24 crore from Rs. 169.94 crore.
