The 55th IPC at Chennai is a new beginning for the pharma machinery major, Associated Capsules, now rechristened as ACG Worldwide. The four decade-old company unveiled its new logo and introduced three new machines at Chennai IPC.

According to Shirish Vaidya, spokesperson for the company, the new logo with three stripes join together to form a triangle, rising like a sail filled with wind, symbolizes the company’s worldwide energy, movement and growth. Crowning the triangle is the stripe for vision and innovation. Below is the stripe that represents technology. And holding the two up is the stripe that represents the people who makes it possible. The earthy red reflects the strength and character born from years of experience and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and together they form the forces that bring change.

He said the company has also launched three new machines at IPC. They are the high precision PAM-PAC BQS, which is India’s first servo technology powered blister packing machine. The automatic cartoning machine, PAM-PAC VCP-40, is an innovation to pack in any size and shape. The company has also launched a small size fluid bed system for R&D services. Named Mini GLATT, the machine is also claimed to be the first of its kind introduced in India.
