Aster Clinic opened at International Airport Bengaluru to offer consultations with doctors & tele-consultations with specialist doctors
Aster DM Healthcare opened the Aster Clinic in the passenger terminal area of the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The new facility will offer consultations with medical doctors and tele-consultations with specialist doctors.
The clinic is the first phase of the healthcare facility to become operational at the Kempegowda International Airport subsequent to the 7-year healthcare partnership agreement signed in July this year by Aster DM Healthcare with the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL). This clinic is located on the first floor at the Terminal building.
An on-site pharmacy will dispense prescription as well as over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. In addition, the clinic will also provide emergency services and disaster management services. It will also provide 24/7 healthcare services to passengers including the international travelers and employees working at the airport. Emergency medical technicians will be available round the clock for any medical emergencies. Passengers can now be assured that quality medical facilities will be available to them at the airport itself.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sreenath Reddy, Group CFO, Aster DM Healthcare said, ‘It is a privilege for us to offer us to offer medical services to passengers travelling to and from the airport, as well as people employed with various facilities at the airport. The facility will be supported by the Aster CMI Hospital, our quaternary care super-specialty healthcare facility in Bengaluru which was recently inaugurated by Sachin Tendulkar.”
