CII, US Embassy to organise a series of seminars on IPR enforcement in metros
CII in collaboration with US Embassy is organizing a series of seminars and workshops on IPR enforcement from April 26 to May 10, 2006, in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
The objectives of this initiative are to share US perspectives on the best practices adopted in IPR Enforcement, to create a platform for Public Private Partnership for effective enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, to facilitate the development of a road map for combating counterfeiting and piracy in India.
The three-day programs will include one-day IPR-awareness seminar on IPR enforcement, giving an overview of the IPR situation in India followed by two-day workshop on experience and information-sharing for focus groups in each metro city. The Leading experts in IPR Enforcement from US will address the Program in all four metros.
In addition to US expertise, CII will tap the technical experience of other organizations involved in IPR enforcement. The programs will be tailored to the locations to suit the specific IPR issues on the agenda for each particular venue.
