Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinic, one of the country’s leading homeopathic healthcare providers, has set up its 36th clinic at Hyderabad.

This is also Dr Batra’s third clinic at Hyderabad. The clinic, inaugurated on Wednesday, will treat respiratory disorders, besides other ailments.

Dr Mukesh Batra, chairman and managing director, Dr Batra’s Clinic, said respiratory ailments such as asthma, COPD, allergic rhinitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, sinusitis, laryngitis are on a steady rise in Andhra Pradesh due to high levels of air pollution. Dr Batra’s have already set up clinics to treat respiratory ailments at Mumbai and Bangalore. The company is planning to set up similar clinics across the country.

The new clinic set up at Hyderabad to treat respiratory ailments has introduced ‘spirometer’, for diagnosis of chronic respiratory ailments such as asthma, COPD and allergic bronchitis, which measures the amount of air moved in and out of the lungs. It also is useful in screening obstructive lung diseases in smokers over 45 years.

The annual treatment charges include a fee of Rs 6,500, which includes consultation from doctors, customized nutrition and diet plans, besides delivery of medication within the country.
