IDMA seminar on trends in pharmaceutical management in Chennai on Nov 22
Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) Tamil Nadu State Board and Association of Pharmaceutical Analysts, Mumbai are jointly organizing a one-day seminar on 'Current trends in pharmaceutical management' in Chennai.
To be held on November 22, 2003 at Hotel Ambassador Pallava from 9 a.m. to 5.p.m., the seminar is the first of its kind conducted in Chennai, and encompasses a wider area of application in the pharmaceutical industry.
The seminar would cover topics like quality management of materials, HRD management in pharmaceutical industry, laboratory accreditation and technical management as per international standards - I.S. 17025, current laboratory management practices and air management as per Schedule M., according to T.Ravichandran, chairman and S.Madhavan, honorary secretary of IDMA (TNSB).
While many seminars have been conducted by IDMA on the technical aspect of pharmaceutical industry, a seminar on management side is the first of its kind organized by the association. It would offer a wider area of interest for managers and staff working in procurement, production, R&D, quality assurance and distribution departments, noted the organizers.
