iSOFT is gearing up to increase its presence in the Indian healthcare sector, which is expected to have a market size of US$4bn by 2011.
While most international outsourced operations develop only part of the product lifecycle in India the company is able to offer opportunities to Indian workforce to build their career on end-to-end product development from technology and architecture to coding and release.
According to S Govind, managing director, iSOFT India, in the wake of global economic meltdown with most organizations in the process of right-sizing, iSOFT India is perhaps one of the very few organizations that are recruiting professionals at a steady pace, owing to its strong global footprint. "iSOFT is relatively immune from the wider economic crisis and we are expecting to grow our global revenues from A$361 million in FY2008 to the range of A$540 million to A$560 million by FY2009," he said.
