Raghuveer Kini has been elevated as the new executive director of Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil). Kini replaces Dr PV Appaji who has returned to his parent organization National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) upon completion of his deputation in Pharmexcil.

Committee of administration of Pharmexcil in its meeting, chaired under its chairman Dinesh Modi, held on August 22, 2007 at Mumbai unanimously decided to appoint Kini as executive director with immediate effect until further notice.

Kini has been working with the council as additional executive director since the inception of the council and is fully aware of all the activities of the council.
