LifeCell appoints Chandra Mouli as CEO

LifeCell, the pioneer stem cell company in India, has appointment Chandra Mouli as chief executive officer. Chandra Mouli brings with him 20 years of work experience gained from manifold management positions.

According to a press release, Mouli would be responsible for the day-to-day management as well as the company's long-term growth plans. He would lead the company's functional areas including: administration, human resources; marketing; sales and process excellence.

S Abhaya Kumar, vice chairman, LifeCell , commented on the appointment, "We are trying to build a truly Multi-National organization and we would like to bench mark ourselves against the international standards in all aspects. We believe that Chandra Mouli's expertise, proven track record and his focus on quality service uniquely qualifies him to lead LifeCell on the continued progress path. We are confident that his conviction in the miraculous power of stem cells and commitment to LifeCell, will take us to greater heights."

A chemistry graduate, Chandra Mouli went on to obtain Masters in Business Administration Degree from Madras University, Chennai. Prior to joining LifeCell, Mouli spent over 20 years in various sales, marketing and management roles at reputed organisations.

Currently, LifeCell has marketing and collection centres in Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Noida, Calicut, Coimbatore, Kochi, Pune and Trivandrum.
