Medical Services International Inc has begun the process with the appropriate regulatory agencies in the United States regarding the introduction and licensing of the Company's lead product the VScan HIV Rapid Test Kit.

To date the Company's sales and marketing activity has been focused exclusively registration and licensing the VScan products in developing countries, with excellent results. Even though not required, the Company feels that its international marketing efforts will be further enhanced by acceptance and approval of the product in the United States.

The VScan HIV test is an accurate (greater than 99%), cost effective, easy to use, disposable diagnostic test kit designed for the initial, rapid screening of HIV 1&2 and subgroup 0.

The VScan rapid diagnostic test kit produces results in under 15 minutes, which are easy to interpret without medical or skilled personnel. The test kit requires no refrigeration or electricity and can be safely stored at room temperature. This allows the kit to be used in a variety of environments and settings from Doctor's offices to blood banks and to remote areas. A built-in control mechanism ensures the integrity of the kit. The kits cannot be sold in Canada.
