The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, is organizing a two-day "Intensive Course on Histopathology: Spontaneous and Induced Lesions in Wistar Han: Brl Rats" from March 18-19, 2005. The workshop will focus on the cutting edge of science related to animal histopathological findings.
Dr. Klaus Weber from RCC Ltd, Switzerland will be the co-ordinator of the workshop. According to a NIPER release, this is for the first time in India, that such an eminent and experienced person is providing a platform for in depth discussion and to give hands on experience to Indian scientists. The course will focus on several instances of induced as well as spontaneous lesions in almost all organs of rodent species.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. K K Talwar, director, PGIMER, Chandigarh on March 18, 2005 at 9.00 AM in the Institute Convention Centre. Over 50 participants from industry and academia are expected to participate in the deliberations.
