Hollywood actor Dustin Hoffman presented Novo Nordisk, a world leader in diabetes care, with the Angel Award for the company's dedication to improving the lives of people with diabetes.
The award was presented May 8 at the Los Angeles Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) annual gala: "Finding A Cure: A Love Story" benefiting the Stem Cell Research Fund. The JDRF honored Novo Nordisk for its unwavering focus on treating and preventing diabetes worldwide.
The Oscar-winning actor presented the Angel Award to Novo Nordisk Saturday evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Hoffman said, "Novo Nordisk has been on the forefront of today's care - developing and offering the most advanced products and services for people with diabetes. We honor the company for its ongoing dedication to diabetes education outstanding commitment to treating people with diabetes and leading research to find a cure for diabetes."
