The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has fixed or revised the prices in respect of 251 formulation packs. The formulations include those based on bulk drugs like Aspirin and Analgin whose prices were revised a week ago.
The NPPA decision, notified on October 3, are of formulations based on bulk drugs Betamethasone with Fusidic Acid, Aspirin with Isosorbide Mononitrate, Ibuprofen with Paracetamol, Levodopa with Carbidopa, Ibuprofen with Paracetamol, Chloroquine Phosphate, Salbutamol, Ibuprofen, Ranitidine with combination, Glipizide, Metronidazole with combination, Norfloxacin with combination, Salbutamol with Ambroxol, Salbutamol with combination, Rifampicin with combination, Spironolactone with Frusemide, Theophylline, Vitamin E with combination, Vitamin E Acetate, Betamethasone with Neomycin, Cloxacillin with Cefixime combination, Cloxacillin with Amoxycillin combination, Doxycycline Mononhydrate, Erythromycin, Gentamycin with Combination, Multivitamin, Pseudoephedrine HCl with combination, Chloroquine Phosphate, Vitamin A and D and Ciprofloxacin with Tinidazole.
