Pharmexcil to hold meeting with African ambassadors, high commissioners at Delhi tomorrow
The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council is holding a high level meeting with the African ambassadors and high commissioners based in India, at New Delhi tomorrow. The purpose of this meeting is to interact with the government officials as well as ambassadors and high commissioners of Africa and share their views and concerns.
Pratyush Sinha, secretary, Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals is attending the meeting and joint secretaries of Department of Commerce and Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals are also to take part in the meeting. Senior officials from the pharma industry are also attending the meeting.
African market has a high potential for Indian pharmaceutical Industry and it is growing steadily year after year. Keeping in view the market demand in African Countries, Pharmexcil is also planning to organize 'Africa Summit' in December 2005 at Hyderabad, under MDA programmes for the year 2005-'06.
The objective of this event is to facilitate the buyers and Drug Regulatory Officials from African market to know more about Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and its strengths. This Summit is aimed at facilitating the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry to know more about African Market, and its quality requirements.
