Schiller Healthcare India, one of the fastest growing medical equipment manufacturers in the country, has introduced a range of infusion pumps for use in critical care units in India.

The company has introduced a new model of volumetric infusion pump and a range of syringe infusion pumps this year. The syringe infusion pumps are available in two models, Evadrop SP-200 and SP-400, and are ideally suitable for OT, ICCU, NICU, pain and cancer management, said Pravin Gandhi, managing director, Schiller India.

According to Girish Gulani, product specialist, Schiller India, the instrument has drug name display (27 drugs) technology and would be of help to the doctors. It has wide range of flow rates for the induction of the drug and has simple functioning. By selecting syringe size and entering the flow rate, it accepts syringe size of 10ml to 60ml in SP-200 & to 100ml in SP-400, calibrated for major Indian Brands like Dispovan, HRJ and Medisafe and also for the imported range like Terumo, Braun, BD and others, he added.

Infusion therapy, one of the most effective drug delivery methods available is used to move appropriate amounts of medication, nutrition or other fluids into the patient in the most controlled manner and in desired dosage.
