SRMC Chennai organizes ‘Innovation Bazar 2018’ at the university campus today to stimulate their creative talents in drug production
The Central Research Facility at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC&RI) in Chennai is organizing ‘Innovation Bazar 2018’ today to stimulate the students’ creative qualities.
The programme is held today at the main auditorium of the university campus.
The programme will provide the students of degree, PG and Ph D research scholars of all the constituent colleges of the deemed university to showcase their inspiring concepts that can lead to the development of novel drugs, medical devices, products / diagnostic kits and ideas for societal benefits.
More than 350 students will participate in the programme which will exhibit more than 120 posters, 15 models, and 4 apps/programmes that have been conceptualized and developed exclusively by students.
In the afternoon, there will be a “Face to Face with Industry” programme for the inventors of Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute who have filed patents on their inventions. About 30 patents will be showcased during an interaction with 12 industry experts to facilitate technology transfer through these industries.
