The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) based at SAS Nagar, is conducting fourteenth training programme under Capacity Building Project, sponsored by ministry of health & family welfare, Government of India from 21-25 February 2005, which is meant for Analytical Staff from Small Scale Industry.

Almost 50 participants from small-scale industries from all over the country and speakers from Academia, Industry and Regulatory are expected to participate in the programme.

The topics of discussion include: Quality Control Functions in SSIs in light of Revised Schedule-M; Concept of Quality Assurance; Environmental Monitoring & Safety, Disposal of Used Waste, Laboratory Reagents, Maintenance of Purified Water, Pest Control etc; Calibration of Glassware and other Analytical Equipments used for Pharmacopoeial Analysis etc.
