Wockhardt Hospitals in association with Mangal Anand Hospital launched 'Mangal Anand Heart Centre', a dedicated cardiac care service in Chembur. The objective of the association is to provide cardiac care services to the residents of Chembur and neighbouring areas.

Wockhardt Hospitals felt the need of identifying a cardiology service in this area and hence 'Mangal Anand Heart centre' has evolved. Wockhardt Hospitals will be conducting cardiac OPD services at Mangal Anand Heart Centre by Dr Manjeet Juneja, consultant interventional cardiologist, Wockhardt Hospitals. The consultation timing is Monday to Friday 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Juneja said, "This initiative is the result of our continued effort to make quality heart care easily accessible to citizens of Mumbai. The need today is to ensure penetration of quality healthcare whereby emergencies can be managed competently and within the shortest possible time. Through this association Wockhardt Hospitals extends it healthcare services to the residents of Mumbai."

Dr L M Parihar, Mangal Anand Hospital said, "There was very less cardiology cover for patients at Mangal Anand Hospital. By associating with Wockhardt Hospitals we intend to bridge the gap in cardiac services and provide necessary care to our patients."
