14TH state conference of AMAI to be held Kozhikodu on Jan 21 & 22

The 14th state conference of Ayurveda Medical Association India (AMAI), an organization representing qualified Ayurveda doctors spanning all streams of professional Ayurveda, will be held at Kozhikodu from January 21 to 22.

The two days conference will be inaugurated by Prof A K Premajam, the Mayor of Kozhikodu. Dr T A Salim, president of AMAI will preside over the function. A Pradeep Kumar MLA and A C Shanmughadas, former minister, are the guests of honour at the function.

The second day will witness discussions and classes on scientific subjects scheduled in two sessions. Union Minister of state for Home Affairs, Mullappalli Ramachandran will inaugurate the session in the morning, and Kerala state minister for Tourism, A P Anil Kumar will be the guest of honour. Padma Bhushan Dr P K Warrier will be felicitated in the conference. M K Raghavan, Member of Parliament will address the audience.

Afternoon, AMAI will honour the members elected to CCIM from Kerala, Dr V G Udayakumar, Dr Ram Mohan and Dr K G Viswanathan.

The academic session on ‘ayurveda for social health’, will be inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Dr Sam Pitroda, Advisor to the Prime Minister of India on public information, infrastructure and innovation. The key note address will be made by Padma Bhushan Dr B M Hegde, former VC, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
